Intuitive Painting Process 101

titled: Wishing for a safe place.

This process I found very interesting and defiantly wish to experience more of this,
in my work to come.
The goal is not to make paintings for exhibition or to learn specific techniques.
Rather, the goal is to allow yourself the space to be inside color, paint, and process
while locating the inner core of your creative self.

Just Around the Corner...

These mixed media collage pieces are inspired by the expression
stated,"around the corner."
According to urban dictionary.com one will come apparent or will realize soon.
"Cheer up my friend, and don't worry...good times are just around the corner!"
I realized... when I am involved with my art, with is exactly what my soul is trying to get me to do.

mixed-media collages

come to a halt...
I've come to realize, as an artist, I am completely in love with the techniques
applied with collage making.
Carefully constructing my story with paper.
Even the paper bits and torn scraps have a story to tell;
for they have a long history behind them being my faithful companions.

journal page

documenting life- turning inside out.
This journal page was created to help visually express how deeply those who surround us, effect our being.
Tho, we recover and move forward...
we do bare a moment, in time, when we feel torn "inside-out".
