Wishcasting Wednesday

"You need to claim the events of your life
to make yourself yours.
When you truly possess all that you have been and done,
which may take some time,
you are fierce with reality."
Where do you wish to be fierce?
My Life Story *
Taking the reality of my daily living and fiercely applying this to create art.

No holding back...
take doubt, toss caution to the wind...
the fear of rejection out of the picture, and just paint.
I am a visual artist.
A have a story to tell...

Why bottle up, this life I have lead...?
Why not...
whole heartedly place it down on canvas.

Creating art is a process, of one's own journey...
I fiercely need to take ownership of this.
Take hold of this thought, and make it a reality.

Stick around... if you wish to get to know me.

What are you fiercely wishing...?

All In A Row...

Altered Tags
**  I am A Tagger Project 2012 **
I was working on these tags last week, as art therapy, for me.
An "ART HEALING" process.
I explain how working on a smaller scale
during times of which, I am not feeling well, is very therapeutic.

If you wish to start from the being of my process
get the full story from beginning to end... enjoy.
We do not always have to be creating something...
 ** spectaculair **
gallery ready!

our life is spinning out of control, our time is limited,
there is no fuel feeding our creative fire,
just maybe... we don't feel well enough to make art.
** That is Life **
It happens to us all!

For me, that is when the "little things in life" matter most.
I gather up a few simple supplies...

without any demand or pressure...

I create.

Something "crafty".

I play, reflect, and discover new things about myself.

Knowing that "all storms" come to an end...
leads me to sing a happy tune!

And yes... I am given the strength to spread my wings again.

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Monday In Motion...

Most people tend to dislike Mondays... I don't know why that is?
I adore the being of a new week, another start to gather more inspiration,
an arrival to new creativity!

{motivational jump-start}

Your work is going to fill a
larger part
of your life and the only way to be
truly satisfied
is to do what you believe is
great work
the only way to do great work is to
what you do

Nifty-Thrifty Finds
I have to admit... I do love going to our local thrift store! I find it relaxing...
I might not always find something, I do not feel it was a waste of time,
and most of the time I get inspired just by looking around.

I did wish to share with you, over this weekend, these sweet findings.
I scored!

I can not wait to fill this up with my art supplies.
I think having my supplies ready and available, is important.
I've seen this at Michael's for $24.00.
(I simply adore the inside pattern, but wasn't willing to pay that much for it.)
At the thrift store I paid $7.00!

Are you kidding me... I just could not believe it!
This is brand NEW.

I already have a standing easel, but I was wishing someday to own a table easel.
This will work perfect... for those days, I am not feeling well, but still wish to paint.

Retail price $79.99
I paid $16.00. Yes, I scored!!

Happy Monday!

Collaboration of Tags...

"Art is a collaboration between God and the artist,
and the less the artist does the better."
Audre Gide

Wishcasting Wednesday

"It is my feeling that Time ripens all things;
with Time all things are revealed;Time is the father of truth."
Francois Rabelais

How do you wish to spend your time?
I wish...
To engage in the simplicity of life.

My thoughts
No need to be in such a rush...
we might miss out on the little things.
Those just might be the most meaningful moments in our lives.
I wish...
To take the time to talk, laugh, and sing... with family and friends.
To listen to others share their stories;
gather around and embrace what has been placed in front of me.

Take the time...
To build strong family ties and loving communication;
give where it has been neglected and nurture where it is needed.
Keep loving friendships close and dear to me; never taken for granted.

Write a note, send a letter, scribble a heart on a piece of scratch paper;
never thinking I am wasting my time...
telling others how much I care!
I wish...
To enjoy a few of life's simple pleasures...
That are important to me.
A cozy place to snuggle up with my Husband.
Read a good book, delight in some sweetness...

Enjoy a road trip and making plenty of playtime,
to indulge in my creativity!

How do you wish to spend your time?
